The first show took place on October 16th 2006.

Thanks to The Con Cellar Bar many of London’s foremost young musicians are having the chance to air their original music on a weekly basis in a small and intimate environment.

  • Following on from the success of last years sold out Mark Turner gig and more recently The Mike Janisch/Pete Zimmer Quartet featuring tenor saxophone giant Joel Frahm, Jazz @ The Con Cellar Bar is proud to present another anglo/american collaboration from British born pianist, though currently residing in New York, John Escreet, 19 year old alto saxophone sensation Ben Van Gelder, London based bass bad boy and regular at the Con Cellar Bar Calum Gourlay and Colin Stranahan, currently studying with Brian Blade at The Monk Institute in New Orleans.
